A year in pictures

At the end of 2007 I enjoyed very much creating a review of our year using pictures.  I started the same project again at the end of 2008, but am only now finishing it.  Many of these pictures have found their way into other blog postings, and most, if not all, are on facebook.  But I hope you enjoy seeing them here, in the context of a year in our life.

Nate -

Amazing photos. You can tell the photographer (you, Faith, both?) have a wonderful eye for photography!

What do you shoot with?

Hey Jason,

Thanks for the complements.

Believe it or not, I am not a film-head (photo-head? lens-head?). Faith bought our camera, and she's into the specs way more than I am. We have a Canon - it's not an SLR, and it's not a little pocket thing either - it's kind of a hybrid between an SLR and a smaller camera.

I do recommend it, because it does take fantastic pictures, and it makes this hack look like he knows what he's doing. Plus, it doesn't hurt that we the subject matter here is so photogenic. We really do live in a beautiful place.

Faith is actually out with the camera right now, so I couldn't even tell you anything more specific than "It's a Canon." When she gets back, I'll ask her to post her thoughts here.

Jodi - did we end up answering this question over e-mail? If not - send us one and we'll fill you in. Sorry - I am NOT very good about checking for comments.
